Interested in visiting Niagara Falls this October and taking part in Canada's most important SCI research conference? The Rick Hansen Institute is pleased to team up with Ontario Neurotrauma Foundation and Toronto Rehabilitation Institute to send a select number of Canadians with SCI to participate in the 4th National Spinal Cord Injury Conference.

The conference, organized every two years by Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, takes place from October 28 to 30th at the Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls. It includes clinicians, research scientists and consumers in Canada and North America who are focused on understanding and achieving recovery among the spinal cord injury population. It will include presentations of new research, clinical breakthroughs, and innovative approaches and methodologies.

The organizers of this conference have always strived to include Canadians with SCI in order to hear their views, and have them pass along what they learn to people in their own communities and lives. This year is no exception, and that's why Rick Hansen Institute is pleased to help support the conference's Consumer Outreach Program. Under this program, all reasonable costs for you (and, if required, an attendant) will be covered, including airfare, accommodation and meals.
