Under the leadership of l’Association des paraplégiques du Québec (APQ), the spinal cord injury community in Quebec is working together to create and implement solutions that respond to the priority needs of people with SCI and related mobility disabilities in the province through the establishment of a Provincial Solutions Team. The Rick Hansen Institute is also helping support the employment of a coordinator to help organize Rick Hansen Wheels In Motion in Montreal and facilitate the Provincial Solutions Team.

Participants in the Québec solutions movement include the Fondation pour la recherche sur la moelle épinière, Association québécoise des sports en fauteuil roulant, Centre interdisciplinaire de recherche en réadaptation et intégration sociale, and the Centre de réadaptation Lucie-Bruneau.
