The government of Prince Edward Island made a $200,000 commitment to the solutions process in April 2006 to be distributed over five years. A Provincial Solutions Team has been established and is working to identify the priority needs of people living with spinal cord injury in Prince Edward Island. Funds have been used to purchase equipment for Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Charlottetown, Accessibility improvements at University of PEI, and a PEI SCI Resource Guide amongst other projects.
