The Rick Hansen Institute is working closely with the CPA-NS to establish a Provincial Solutions Team that will lead the solutions process in the province. Local Solutions Teams have been established in Halifax and Sydney, with Local Solutions Representatives servicing Wolfville and Digby.

The work of the Rick Hansen Institute is guided by a collaborative spirit, sharing a broad vision with many individuals and organizations in the SCI field across Canada. Participants in the Nova Scotia solutions movement include representatives from CPA Nova Scotia, the Nova Scotia Wheelchair Sports Federation, the SCI research field, acute care and rehab facilities, TETRA, and the Halifax Independent living Centre, along with individuals living with SCI.
