The Government of the Northwest Territories (NWT) committed $100,000 in December 2006 to be allocated to Solutions projects over a five year period. Funds are being directed towards quality of life improvements for persons living with SCI and other mobility impairments.

The NWT Council of Persons with Disabilities heads the NWT Solutions Team, with participation from the Yellowknife Association for Community Living, the National Occupational Therapy Board, NT/NU Rehabilitation Services, and Health & Social Services, Government of NWT. To date, the Solutions Team has distributed $60,000 to support 22 Solutions projects in the Northwest Territories.
