The government of New Brunswick committed $250,000 to the solutions process in 2007 to be distributed over five years. These funds are being used to support solutions in New Brunswick as well as assisting CPA-NB in hiring a full-time rehabilitation counsellor to to help ensure that people with SCI can make a successful transition from injury to rehabilitation to full participation in all aspects of their personal and community lives.

A Solutions Team has been established in Moncton and there is a Solutions representative working in Fredericton. The Rick Hansen Institute is currently working with CPA-NB to establish a Provincial Solutions Team.
