The Rick Hansen Institute has been pleased to host a series of Project Showcase events in Ottawa, Toronto and Victoria where MPs, MLAs, MPPs, Senators, and other government officials viewed, first hand, some of the innovative projects underway by our national network partners and the progress being made to improve the quality of life of tens of thousands of Canadians living with spinal cord injuries, and related medical conditions.

Each event was graciously hosted by government representatives - the Ottawa reception was co-hosted by the Honourable Alice Wong, MP for Richmond, BC, and Manon Perreault, MP for Montcalm, QC; Toronto's reception hosted by Elizabeth Witmer, MPP for Kitchener-Waterloo, ON; and Victoria's reception hosted by the Honourable Stephanie Cadieux, MLA for Surrey-Panorama, BC.
